Kaye Wilson
Kaye Wilson is the mother of four (one biological and three by marriage) and the proud
grandmother of nine. She is an active volunteer in the nonprofit community, having served in
leadership roles with the African American Women's Outreach Taskforce of the Chicago Foundation
for Women, African Americans in Philanthropy, and the City of Chicago-Cook County Welfare
Reform Task Force. Kaye holds a masters degree and brings professional experience in
philanthropy and education. She has been a program director for the Woods Fund of Chicago and
has taught at the elementary school and college levels. Kaye is a founding staff member of
DePaul University's School for New Learning and the founder of Wells Prep, an elementary
school for public housing children. She lives with her husband in Olympia Fields.
