Our Supporters
Since our beginning, more than 100 parents and grandparents from across the Chicagoland area
have given generously to help get ParentsWork off the ground. We have also been fortunate to
have the support of two respected charitable foundations - The Chicago Foundation for Women
and The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation - who have provided much needed start-up funds for
our community outreach activities. And, we have benefited greatly from the in-kind
contributions of organizations like the Chicago Jobs Council, Family Focus, and the YMCA of
Metropolitan Chicago as well as several local businesses who have offered everything from
financial management assistance to meeting space.
Clearly, we could not have come this far without all of their support. But there is more
work to be done as we seek to build an organization that has the capacity to reach parents
in every community across the State of Illinois and sustain their involvement. A
professional staff, offices and computer systems are just some of the things we need for
ParentsWork to grow.
So, please consider making a contribution today. Whether it's large or small, every dollar
will help move us closer to achieving our mission of ensuring that all Illinois parents have
the time and resources they need to care for their children and families.
